CHARLIE ALLEN-"Why Ask Why"

www.charlieallenmusic.com

Bristol, Tennessee, is a town best known today for its motor speedway. But, historically, its real claim to fame is as the birthplace of modern Country music. For it was there that Ralph Peer first recorded The Carter Family and Jimmie Rodgers - creating what is today known as "the big-bang" of Country music. Charlie Allen was born there into a family steeped in Country music. Allen's mother, Louise Bouton was a regular on WCYB radio's "Fun and Farm Time," and she is a member of the Bristol Hall of Fame. His father, Charles D. Bouton, was an artist manager.

By age fifteen, Allen was fronting his own group, The Bouton Brothers. They appeared on various television shows in the Bristol and Kingsport area, opening for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Charley Pride and others. He also hosted his own television show, sponsored by Martha White.

Presently, Allen is signed to indy label, River Run Records, and has recently completed the album, That Was Then, This Is Now.

www.myspace.com/patropercountry

Pat Roper hails from Hazelhurst, Mississippi, where he grew up on the farm
owned by his paternal grandparents. He was a big Kenny Rogers fan by the time
he was six.

Vern Gosdin (one of Pat’s boyhood idols) and Bluegrass Hall of Famer Mac
Wiseman both are fans of Pat’s music and have praised him publicly.

Like most country singers, Pat has worked his share of soul-killing day jobs to get
his chance at his dream…from mowing lawns to selling cars. He’s learned a lot
along the way be never lost sight of his dream.

If you liked “Chattahoochie” or “Margaritaville” or “Six-PackSummer,” you’ll
love “Somethin’ “Bout That” . . . "this is a winning combination of song, timing
and artist, destined for the Winner’s Circle!!!!"

RIVER COUNTY-"Rockin' The Country"

www.rivercountymusic.com

From a high school talent contest to center stage, River County’s Derek Wylie (lead singer), Chris Presley (lead and rhythm guitar/background vocals) and Jake Hehman (keyboards & harmonies) formed a bond in musical kinship a long, long time ago that was destined “to be.”

Welcome to River County where the music runs wide and the energy is deep!
As classmates, the group of life-long friends entered a talent contest in their hometown of Whiteland, IN and with a unanimous vote by the panel judges, they won. From that day forward, there was no turning back. River County spent their summers playing graduation parties, hog roasts and winning various competitions-- all the while honing their musical talents and mixing up just the chemistry to create the explosive energy we now enjoy on stage.

Combining the musical vibe and storytelling of Marshall Tucker Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Charlie Daniels, River County is fully loaded! Delivering a bold sound, toe tappin’ melodies and tear jerkin’ ballads in Southern Rock/Swamp Rock style, River County knows how to rock the house and reach out to grab the audience with their lyrical content and high octane performances.

JEFF GRIFFITH-"Fishin Forever"

www.myspace.com/jeffgriffith

You can hear a taste of Jones; a nod to Gosdin, and a touch of Hank Jr’s swagger in the singing of Jeff Griffith. His whiskey-soaked voice takes us back a step in time to the “glory days” of country music, when soul-baring emotions, traditional melodies and pared-down tracks allowed a singer to shine. Jeff’s songs speak to the “everyman,” and breathe life back into pure country music.

His debut CD, IF IT AIN’T ONE THING IT’S ANOTHER (Arrowhead Records), proves that traditional country music is still a compelling genre, and Jeff plumbs its depths throughout the disc’s 11 tracks.

WHITNEY DUNCAN-"When I Said I Would"

www.myspace.com/whitneyduncanmusic

For Whitney Duncan, it's always been about the right relationships. They helped shape her as a young girl nurturing her passion for music in a small Tennessee town. They were there to support her efforts to break into the upper reaches of the music business as a teenager. And, not long ago, when her path seemed uncertain, she knew she would find them again.

"There were times when I wondered, 'Is this going to work?’” she says, "and times when I was frustrated, but I realized a lot of people go through this. 'I'm young,' I thought. 'I still have time. I don't need to freak out and get impatient. Eventually the time will be right.'

These early influences have helped them develop their vocals, instrumentation and songwriting to create a sound that is fresh to every listener, a unique hybrid blend that is undeniably known as THE O'DONNELLS.

Bailey is a huge success in the country music scene but she has also appeared on ABC’s Friday night sitcom Hope and Faith, where her sister Macey is a regular on the show. While television success runs in the family, Bailey’s passion is with her band. When she is not playing music with the band she is visiting radio stations that play her music. You will find her entertaining crowds across the United States at festivals, dance halls, and performing concerts in every spare minute she has on her busy schedule. Releasing two of her singles in late 2006 and early 2007 radio was a focus for her and BEG records. Bailey has touched the hearts of radio programming directors at over 100 radio stations. They have always had a family bluegrass band that plays festivals, local events and every family gathering. My grandfather on my father's side of the family can play any instrument he picks up. One of my greatest childhood memories is sitting beside him as he taught me to play the guitar.” As a kid, April would spend hours listening to her father’s albums and singing along though she never took her own musical talents seriously. She was happy singing in her church and with her family, with the hopes of passing her rich musical heritage on to her own children.

RANDY HOUSER-"Anything Goes"

www.myspace.com/randyhouser

“I didn’t know any different” says Randy Houser when asked how he began his journey of music. “There never was a time that I can remember as a kid when I didn’t have something to make music with. Kind of like a toy you never get tired of playing with. After my folks split, I grew up with my Mama and sister in Lake, Mississippi. I felt like the man of the house even before I was one. I’d spend a few weeks with my Daddy every summer and Christmas. He’d teach me a new chord or song while I was there.

“He always made sure that my sister and I stayed hip to good music. Our tastes in music were fairly broad for two kids from a town of less than 500 people. We got a lot of good ole country like Merle, Conway, but we were also spoon fed the artists like Bonnie Raitt, Delbert, and B.B. King - just good soulful music.

ASHLEY GEARING-"Out The Window"

www.myspace.com/ashleygearing

JASON MEADOWS-Where Did My Dirt Road Go"

http://www.myspace.com/officialjasonmeadows

Music and rodeo have been Jason Meadows' two greatest passions since he was six years old, and while few entertainers have the talent to make a living both on stage and on horseback, Jason is on that short and noteworthy list. Fortunately for country fans, these days the music takes center stage.

Along the way, he so impressed Reba McEntire that the Oklahoma superstar made it her business to help set him up in Nashville, and he turned both the audience and judges of the hit USA Network "Nashville Star" TV series into fans with his bigger-than-life persona and ownership of the center stage spotlight. That's not to say it was easy. The handsome Oklahoman had to draw on every bit of his background--the strength, the vision, the perseverance in the face of huge odds--to earn national acclaim. It's a testament to the depth of his talent and his drive that he's done just that.

Even then he knew what he wanted to do and never stopped pursuing his dream of becoming a singer. He spent two years as the bass guitarist on tour with the legendary Lynn Anderson. PEACE, LOVE and COONDAWGS makes you smile with selections like “Red Flag”, a lesson for women in what to look for in a man, and “Redneck Love Gone Bad”, a total Jerry Springer episode.
