A young mother claims that Barclays Capital fired her after she told them, during maternity leave, that her baby had been born with cancer. Barclays, she says, cancelled her child's health coverage; and later, after she had drawn down her savings to support herself and her baby, Barclays contested her eligibility for unemployment. Now Rachel Walsh, 32, has filed a complaint alleging breach of contract and gender discrimination, demanding $10 million in damages and compensation.
