Porter County Sheriffs Police urge the public's help as they investigate an alleged hit-and-run incident involving a jogger near Chesterton. Public Information Officer Sgt. Larry LaFlower says a woman was hit by a motorist who fled the scene around 9:45 pm Monday June 11th on 200-West near 1039 North in Liberty Township. The suspect vehicle is believed to be an older model Honda, and sgt. LaFlower says it's possible the suspect is keeping the vehicle out of sight.
