That point was stressed by the owner of the Lan-Oakes Lanes Bowling alley on Ridge Rd. who along with other local business owners voiced their concern at a Village Board meeting Tuesday night, according to http://www. nwitimes.com . A change in Illinois law allows video gambling games at eligible, licensed establishments, in which the state gets a percentage of the proceeds to help fund road repairs.
