Three televised debates are being planned for Indiana's gubernatorial candidates ahead of the November election. The Indiana Debate Commission announced today it is accepting applications from venues wanting to be considered for debate locations, with a deadline just over three weeks away. Candidates Democrat John Gregg, Republican Mike Pence and Libertarian Rupert Boneham have all agreed in principle to three debates with dates to be determined. Four years ago the commission hosted debates in Merrillville, Jasper and Bloomington – with both public and private venues donating facilities for statewide broadcasts.
