Vigil Held at Lake Central HS

Friends and family gathered for a candlelight vigil last night to remember a 17-year-old boy from Crown Point who was found dead near Lake Central High School Wednesday evening. Levi Evans, who was a drummer with the marching band, was about to start his sophomore year at Lake Central, and published reports also say he was last seen at the Taco Bell on US 41 not far from the high school about two hours before his body was discovered. A Lake County coroners news release said there was no trauma or foul play and the manner of death was pending investigation, with an autopsy scheduled for Thursday.
