The “Walk to End Alzheimer's”, an annual fund raising event to find a cure for the disease that is the 6^th leading cause of death in the U-S, takes place this weekend at Merrillville's Hidden Lake Park.  Alzheimer's Association Community Service Liaison for Northwest Indiana Louise Thompson says registration begins at 12:30 Sunday afternoon, with the walk to start at 1:30.   About 120-thousand Hoosiers are afflicted with the disease, and funds raise will go towards local programs, services, and research.
