Autumn officially arrived this past Saturday, and this morning we had temps in the 30s.... Meteorologists with the National Weather Service say Chicago reached 37°, the earliest 37 degree or lower temperature in 17 years. It also dropped to 37 in the Valparaiso area, according to a National Weather Service Cooperative Observer report. Nighttime temperatures for the next several days are expected to be back around fifty.
