State Form 11 – the Notice of Assessment – has arrived in Porter County mailboxes, and Porter County property owners have about six weeks to file an appeal with the County Assessor, if they wish to do so. Porter County Assessor Jon Snyder says the 45-day timeframe to appeal ends November 13^th. Snyder says in Porter County, property owners can file online at www.portercountyassessor.com , or by mailing an appeal to the Assessor's office, or by walking in, and extended hours of 8-to-5 will be available October first thru November 13^th.
