An overturned semi tied up traffic for several hours around the dinner hour Thursday preventing northbound I-65 traffic from accessing the on-ramp to westbound Borman (80/94). Sgt. Ann Wojas of the Indiana State Police says preliminary reports show the semi was going too fast to negotiate the ramp's curve causing the driver to brake. Sgt. Wojas says the driver then changed lanes, lost control which caused the load to shift flipping the truck onto its passenger side. She said the box trailer, hauling 40-thousand pounds of metal lids, split open scattering the lids across all lanes on the ramp. The driver, who was cited for Load Securement and Unsafe Lane movement was not injured.
