A Jackson Township man has until December 5th to accept a plea agreement, or risk having his murder case go to trial in Porter Superior Court in January. The Times reports Fredrick Cashner Junior is being offered an opportunity to plead guilty to murder, in exchange for a reduced sentence of 45 years in prison, as the charges carries a potential sentence of 45 to 65 years. Published reports say Cashner is accused of killing his estranged wife, 50 year old Cynthia Cashner, on April 24, 2011, at her Portage owned business.
