An investigation is continuing, with charges forthcoming, after a man who reportedly robbed Centier Bank in Crown Point was apprehended Tuesday night and taken into custody as a person of interest. The Lake County Sheriff's Office reports they responded to an active alarm for service at 5pm, and upon arrival, officers were advised that one white male had entered the bank and demanded money, but did not display a weapon. Authorities say money was surrendered to the man, who fled on foot. The man was a short time later spotted running through the yard of a residence at the Lakes of the Four Seasons, and was held by their security department until the Sheriff's Department arrived.
