REPORT: NICKI MINAJ LEAVING "AMERICAN IDOL"
Another American Idol judge has -- reportedly -- decided to leave the show. Following the news that Randy Jackson would be leaving the show, an insider tells Us Weekly that Nicki Minaj also will not return to the competition for Season 13. "It's safe to say she isn't coming back to Idol," says the insider.
Hollywood's Sony Pictures Entertainment says it will distribute worldwide a 3-D animated movie based on the popular "Angry Birds" video game. The film is being developed, produced and financed by Rovio Entertainment and will be released worldwide by Sony Pictures July 1, 2016.

Seth Meyers may have just been named the new host of Late Night, but he's already got his pick for the first guest on his couch. "Amy Poehler," Meyers told TVGuide.com at the NBC upfront red carpet Monday. "If that can't happen then we'll have real trouble getting guests!" FOUR-YEAR-OLD ELECTED MAYOR OF MINNESOTA TOWN
He many only be small, but a four-year-old has big plans after being elected the mayor of a Minnesota town. Mayor Robert “Bobby” Tufts was selected as mayor of Dorset after his name was picked out a hat. The small town has 26 residents and potential candidates who live in and around the town pay the $1 ballot charge to enter their names. Past candidates have included chickens and cats. According to Bobby’s mom, Emma Tufts, the toddler was delighted to be selected as mayor. “He was so excited and told everyone at daycare that he was going to be mayor forever,”

Comedian and stoner icon Tommy Chong is celebrating after he was declared cancer-free. The Cheech & Chong star revealed last June that he was suffering with stage one prostate cancer, but he decided against traditional medicine to treat the disease and instead opted to overhaul his diet and lifestyle. Chong has now told fans he has overcome the cancer, and opened up about how he treated the condition.
Angelina Jolie has revealed she recently had a preventive double mastectomy after learning she has a "faulty" gene that gave her an 87 percent risk of developing breast cancer.
A new report from The Wrap claims that Christina Aguilera, who stepped away from her role on "The Voice" for Season 4, has signed a contract to return to the tune of $17 million. NBC has made no comment on the report. The insider, said to have knowledge of the deal, says that Aguilera's return has been kept under wraps for a few months. With the $17 million payday, she'll be making roughly the same salary as her last season on the show, making her one of the highest paid women on reality TV.

BARBARA WALTERS TO ANNOUNCE HER RETIREMENT TODAY
Barbara Walters is retiring. The veteran ABC News anchor is set to announce this morning on "The View" that she will retire from TV journalism next summer. ABC said in an announcement late yesterday that, until then, Walters will continue to anchor and report for the network, anchor specials throughout the year, and appear on "The View." She will remain executive producer of "The View," the weekday talk show she created in 1997.

Seth Meyers has officially been announced as the new host of “Late Night,” and will replace Jimmy Fallon, who’s taking over “The Tonight Show” from Jay Leno next year.
OJ SIMPSON BLAMES HIS LAWYER FOR HIS ROBBERY AND KIDNAP CONVICTION
This week, OJ Simpson will return to the Las Vegas courthouse where he was convicted of leading an armed sports memorabilia heist to ask a judge for a new trial on the grounds that his lawyer, Yale Galanter, botched his case. Simpson will take the witness stand to testify that the Florida lawyer who collected nearly $700,000 is to blame for his armed robbery and kidnapping conviction in 2008 and his failed appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court in 2010. Simpson is scheduled to be in Clark County District Court beginning this morning or the entire five-day hearing. He is currently serving a nine-to-33-year sentence that makes him first eligible for parole at age 70.
