The DWTS Pairings were announced last night... who do you think is the favorite to win?
Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Pamela Anderson and Tristan MacManus
Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower
Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson
Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough
Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya
Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd
Kelly Monaco and Valentin Chmerkovskiy
Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff
Bristol Palin and Mark Bellas
Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani
Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke
I'm going with Helio or Shawn Johnson... although I'd love to see my girl Cheryl Burke win! (Not that I care about Emmitt Smith!)

Did you see Gabby Douglas' hair? Doesn't that swimmer look a little fat? Well that's not very ladylike... all comments made about female athletes in London and this was supposed to be the year of the women. For the first time in history, all countries were represented by a female athlete. The US team not only had more woman athletes on the roster, but they secured more medals as well! Despite all this success, I couldn't help but feel like female athletes were being looked at unfairly. (Check Out An Article Here)
For instance, I watched an interview this weekend where NBC asks the Gold Medal winning Women's Water Polo team if their sport is too barbaric for women to play. He then follows up by commenting on how at least they are staying “ladylike” with pretty nails! Do you think Olympic Coverage was slightly sexist? Let us know your opinion on Facebook!

Which would you rather be a part of: Dancing With The Stars or The Bachelor/Bachelorette? If you are Olympian Ryan Lochte the competitor in him says DWTS! (Are we just running out of questions to ask Gold Medalists?) Olympic Closing Ceremonies are Sunday... will you be watching?
Let us know what you think on Facebook!

Have you heard about Sisters Bridal in Valpo suddenly closing leaving many brides out of money and without a dress for their big day?!?! (Read More Here) I cannot even imagine what it would be like if this happened to my dress! I feel for you, finding a dress has been the most stressful part of my wedding planning so far! I would probably hunt this woman down and well.... you get the point! Anyway, there is a Facebook Page designed to help donate dresses to those in need... if you can help out any way you can it would be great! (Us brides have to stick together you know!)

*Update: I was contacted by Rachel, a bride who was swindled out of her bridesmaids dresses, and she wanted me to pass along this email to get in contact with other brides:

Also, Anjelica will be collecting dresses today and this weekend with meetup spots in Hobart or Merrillville. Contact her after 5pm for more info at 219.577.5059 or check out the Facebook Page!

Yesterday, I decided to start a new after work routine. As long as the weather cooperates, I plan on riding my bike before making the trek home! Yesterday, I began my journey at Imagination Glenn Park in Portage and rode the trail to Downtown Chesterton! What an awesome ride... just the right amount of effort needed!!!
Also, I enjoyed checking out the many businesses in Chesterton! Guess I didn't realize the great antique shops I could find along my journey! Too bad I haven't attached that basket to my bike or else I would have came home with a bunch of stuff!
I'm looking for more places to explore if you have any suggestions let me know on Facebook!
