Annie was born and raised in Northwest Indiana with her younger sister and parents in Hammond. After spending some time out of the area chasing the radio dream she has moved back to start a family with her two main men: Jager the mutt and fiance Rob. When she is not on the air Annie enjoys cheering her favorite Chicago sports teams (Da Bears, Da Bulls, And Da Sox), hiking, and exploring new fairs and festivals! (Anything Deep Fried she's in!) Annie cannot wait to share her life with you on air and is excited to be back in the Region doing what she loves!

NEW TRAILER DROPS FOR "ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES"

The second trailer for "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" has rolled out online. The movie will be in theaters December 20. 

WOMAN GOT 6 POWERBALL NUMBERS -BOUGHT HER TICKET AN HR TOO LATE

Having your lottery numbers come up should be the stuff dreams are made of, but what if they did - and then you were told your ticket wasn't valid? This scenario appears to have happened to one unlucky lady from California. Margit Arrobio from Pasadena, purchased five Powerball tickets at a local gas station. She decided to take a chance and play in the Powerball lottery on Wednesday when the jackpot stood at $360 million. The next morning, Arrobio tuned into ABC's Good Morning America for the winning numbers and found out that her ticket matched all six. Confusingly for her, the news was reporting that no winning ticket had been sold. “I called my gas station where I bought the ticket and I said, 'I don't get it. I have every number and yet they say there's no winner,’”

Here are the winning numbers from Saturday’s $590 million Powerball drawing: 10-13-14-22-52; Powerball was 11. There was one winner. the winning ticket was sold at a Publix supermarket in Zephyrhills. In total, there were 7,598,547 winning tickets, with prizes starting at $4 and moving up to $1 million, before reaching the huge jackpot.

WESLEY SNIPES IS BACK

Wesley Snipes has officially signed up to make his Hollywood return in the third installment of Sylvester Stallone's action epic The Expendables, according to his new co-star Randy Couture. Snipes has been on house arrest since his release from prison on April 2 after serving a 27-month stint for tax evasion

Candice is your new American Idol after a big finale that saw performances from Aretha Franklin, judges Keith Urban and Mariah Carey, The Band Perry, and a ton of others. They also had a pretty nice tribute to Randy.

POWERBALL JACKPOT

There was no Powerball winner in Wednesday night's drawing for the $360 million jackpot, the third-largest prize ever. The next drawing will be tomorrow for a grand prize of $550 million

Another American Idol judge has -- reportedly -- decided to leave the show. Following the news that Randy Jackson would be leaving the show, an insider tells Us Weekly that Nicki Minaj also will not return to the competition for Season 13. "It's safe to say she isn't coming back to Idol," says the insider.

ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE

Hollywood's Sony Pictures Entertainment says it will distribute worldwide a 3-D animated movie based on the popular "Angry Birds" video game. The film is being developed, produced and financed by Rovio Entertainment and will be released worldwide by Sony Pictures July 1, 2016.

SETH MEYERS CHOOSES HIS FIRST GUEST FOR LATE NIGHT

Seth Meyers may have just been named the new host of Late Night, but he's already got his pick for the first guest on his couch. "Amy Poehler," Meyers told TVGuide.com at the NBC upfront red carpet Monday. "If that can't happen then we'll have real trouble getting guests!" FOUR-YEAR-OLD ELECTED MAYOR OF MINNESOTA TOWN

He many only be small, but a four-year-old has big plans after being elected the mayor of a Minnesota town. Mayor Robert “Bobby” Tufts was selected as mayor of Dorset after his name was picked out a hat. The small town has 26 residents and potential candidates who live in and around the town pay the $1 ballot charge to enter their names.  Past candidates have included chickens and cats. According to Bobby’s mom, Emma Tufts, the toddler was delighted to be selected as mayor. “He was so excited and told everyone at daycare that he was going to be mayor forever,”
