Annie was born and raised in Northwest Indiana with her younger sister and parents in Hammond. After spending some time out of the area chasing the radio dream she has moved back to start a family with her two main men: Jager the mutt and fiance Rob. When she is not on the air Annie enjoys cheering her favorite Chicago sports teams (Da Bears, Da Bulls, And Da Sox), hiking, and exploring new fairs and festivals! (Anything Deep Fried she's in!) Annie cannot wait to share her life with you on air and is excited to be back in the Region doing what she loves!

Stumbled upon a Hot Air Balloon Fest this weekend and had an amazing time! Tried pulled pork bbq nachos and they were amazing! Have you ever had them before? This is why I love/hate relationship with this time of year! I cannot stop trying fair food, but it's swimsuit season...ugh! Check out this list of amazing Fair/Fest Foods! (Mmm Deep Fried Beer!)

Duets was back on ABC last night, this time moving to live shows... did you catch it? I don't know what it is, but the show doesn't work for me! (I love Kelly and Jennifer so I keep trying to watch it!) We are under a Heat Advisory for most of the Region through at least tomorrow as temps could break the century mark! YUCK! Make sure to check on your neighbors and keep an eye on kids and pets as they play in the heat the next couple of days. If you need a break from the temps and you don't have an A/C you can Click Here for a list of cooling centers across the state!

Looks like it was the end of the road for controversial AGT contestant Tim Poe last night. To be fair he was eliminated around a month ago before all the info came out on how he may have lied about his military record! Do you think he deserved to go home? Let us know on our Facebook page!
I also have a sad confession to make... I'm hooked back on MTV's Teen Mom! Do you watch the show? It's kinda sad to watch the final season, when we already know how Indiana's own Amber Portwood ends up! (Spoiler Alert: In Jail!) Check out a funny recap of last night's show here!
