Yesterday, went for another round of wedding shopping and had the worst experience! I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (see clip above) when the sales staff thinks you are beneath their service! I came in for my appointment and immediately was looked up and down and everyone looked away. Finally I said I had an appointment and was assigned a bridal consultant. She asked my budget... after I stated what it was she rolled her eyes and said you won't find much for that price. Well excuse me! She then stuck me in a room and left to never be found again!
Fast forward 15 minutes... My bridesmaid and I started helping ourselves when we got tired of waiting! Bad mistake, first dress we slip on rips all the way down the back! (Almost peed my pants as we hurried to put the sample back on the rack!) By time another saleswoman (who was very nice) came to help the day was ruined! I had already made up my mind no matter what dress I liked there was no way I was buying it here! It's amazing how one bad attitude can ruin your experience!
Another thing I didn't like is how there were no prices listed anywhere! Anytime you asked the price the response was the same “oh we could work some deals and get it in your price range”. I just wanted to scream “No what's the price?!?” So if I said my price range was higher would the dresses price automatically get higher? I couldn't wait to get outta that shop!
