Annie was born and raised in Northwest Indiana with her younger sister and parents in Hammond. After spending some time out of the area chasing the radio dream she has moved back to start a family with her two main men: Jager the mutt and fiance Rob. When she is not on the air Annie enjoys cheering her favorite Chicago sports teams (Da Bears, Da Bulls, And Da Sox), hiking, and exploring new fairs and festivals! (Anything Deep Fried she's in!) Annie cannot wait to share her life with you on air and is excited to be back in the Region doing what she loves!

You can just call us the "Ultimate Procrastinators" in my household! This is how a conversation went with my mom yesterday:

Mom: “Annie, we need to get everything ready for our yard/bake sale...”

Annie: “What yard/bake sale?”

Mom: “The one we are having Friday!”

Annie: “Um Friday??? We might want to get to work then!!!" 

Needless to say, I will be spending the day cleaning out the basement for stuff to sell and I've even recruited my sister and fiance to help bake till we drop after work!

However, it's all for a good cause... all the proceeds will go towards the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. You see my cousin has been battling MS now for a couple of years and we are taking part in the Northwest MS Walk in Wicker Park next Sunday. If you'd like to show your support for Team Lady Bugs, stop by tomorrow between 9a-2p on the corner of Lake Ave and 121st in the Whiting/Roberstale area.
