Indiana State Police say a single vehicle crash on I-65 near the Brookston exit around 12:30 Monday afternoon claimed the life of a Remington woman. A preliminary investigation showed the car was northbound on I-65 when for unknown reasons the car drifted off the roadway, and the driver over corrected and started back across the interstate then went into the right ditch and rolled several times end-over-end, ejecting her out the rear window. Police say it does not appear seatbelts were in use. The driver, identified as 49-year-old Ruth Lehman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
