Central Park Plaza in downtown Valparaiso is having to deal with something that shall surprise no one who frequents the park—success. Not even one year after the new park has opened attendance for events has grown from 500 or 600 to more than one-thousand. Parks Director John Seibert reported to Valpo's Park board that movies at the park pushes the attendance number closer to 15-hundred. As a result Seibert said the city is checking into providing a better sound system and larger movie screen.
