Move day for Porter Hospital to their new Porter Regional Hospital is set for this Saturday (Aug. 25^th) beginning at 6 a.m.. Porter Health Care System says at that time, the Emergency Department will be officially closed and area ambulance services have been instructed to take patients to the hospital location at the corner of US-6 and State Rd. 49 in Valparaiso. According to the hospital, at 6 a.m. On Saturday (Aug. 25^th), the new Porter Regional Hospital will be fully operational and begin accepting patients.
