Hobart Man Injured In Crash on I-80

A 56 year old man received non-life-threatening head injuries after his vehicle went partially under a semi trailer heading for South Bend. Indiana State Police report the Hobart man was coming off the I-65/Central entrance ramp onto I-80, just after 1:30 this afternoon, and failed to merge over in time, when the lane ended and sideswiped the semi before going underneath its' trailer. The Hobart man was taken to Saint Mary's Medical Center in Hobart, while the driver of the semi was not injured.
