Laporte State Senator Jim Arnold has announced plans to visit “30 businesses in 30 days,” making personal calls to at least 30 local businesses in his district over the next month. Sen. Arnold says he wants to meet with local business owners and tour company sites to gain a better understanding of how current economic conditions are affecting them and how the state can help.  Business owners and managers in LaPorte County, western St. Joseph County and northern Starke County are encouraged to contact Sen. Arnold now to set up a visit during the month of October.  Arnold serves as a member of the Interim Study Committee on Economic Development.
