Two 17 year old boys remain in custody on felony charges after one of them was reportedly observed firing a gun at an apartment complex. Michigan City Police report one of their officers, working security at Garden Estates West at Pinetree Court, observed the incident at 8:45 Monday night, and a pursuit ensued after the alleged shooter jumped into a vehicle, driven by another 17 year old boy, which was later stopped near Southwind and Village Road. Authorities report it was determined both teens would remain detained, after a juvenile detention hearing Wednesday.
