Portage Township Trustee Brendan Clancy and his staff is asking for your help and continued generosity to help children in need this Christmas season. Nina Rivas, Chief of Staff of the Portage Township Trustees Office, says businesses, organizations, and you, can help the hundreds of children in Portage Township by either requesting a child or children from the Trustee's office to purchase gifts for them, or buy gift cards and bring them to their office. Rivas says the deadline to bring gifts or gift cards is December 10^th, but last minute donations are very much appreciated, as they usually struggle with families coming in the week before Christmas, and so those donations will be used by staff members to purchase items for those families.
