Special Needs Registry for First Responders

Highland Police are encouraging their residents with disabilities, special needs, or their caregivers, to complete a newly created Special Needs Registry form. Police say having that knowledge prior to an incident, which would be strictly confidential, would be an extremely important step toward improving effective emergency preparedness, and could mean the difference between life and death. Highland Police say the form is two-pages, and once completed, a representative from the Police Department will contact you, or your caregiver, every year to ensure the information is up-to-date. For a registration form visit http://highlandpolice.com.

Police say you may include a photo if you feel it would benefit officers.
