Seven Flu Deaths Reported in Indiana

ABC News today reports the flu season has come early this year and cases are rising rapidly with 18 deaths among children reported nationwide. Pediatrician Dr. David Rosenberg says children are very much at risk: "It's been an epidemic. It's huge and there have been a lot of admissions from the flu, more than ever."

The Indiana State Department of Health says two adult influenza-associated deaths were officially reported for the most recent week data are available, and there have been a total of seven reported influenza deaths in Indiana for the 2012-2013 season through January 2nd.
