WGU Indiana to Live-Stream Pence Inauguration

WGU Indiana announced today it will be Indiana’s first university to live-stream the governor’s inauguration. The ceremony for Mike Pence, who's about to become Indiana's 50th governor, is this Monday morning, January 14.
In the wake of this morning’s announcement about the webcast, WGU Indiana and Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels presented the first-ever Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. Go Further Scholarship to Ann Marie Walker, a native of Griffith, pursuing her bachelor’s degree in WGU Indiana’s College of Education. As one of his last acts in office, Governor Daniels presented Walker with the first scholarship given to a WGU Indiana student in their final term. It’s valued at three-thousand dollars covering all student expenses.
Since Governor Daniels created WGU Indiana in June 2010, WGU Indiana has graduated five-hundred students and has grown its enrollment to more than three-thousand, representing every county in the state.
