The FBI is asking for your help in locating a federally indicted fugitive known to frequent Whiting and East Chicago. The FBI's Merrillville Resident Agency reports Paulino "Chino" Salazar, a member of the Latin Kings street gang, was indicted in November of 2011, in the Northern District of Indiana, on alleged multiple violations of the RICO statute to include drug conspiracy. Salazar is described as a Hispanic male, five-feet seven inches tall, weighing 220 pounds, with a shaved head, and brown eyes, and has a skin condition known as vitiligo, which has resulted in irregular or splotchy white patches around his eyes and mouth. Salazar is considered to be armed and dangerous, and should only be approached by law enforcement. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to please contact their local police department or the FBI Merrillville Resident Agency.
