The actor explained to a young fan how Spider-Man sewed his own outfit and called that act "feminine," which resulted in his girlfriend and co-star Emma Stone calling him out and asking him to clarify what he meant. Stone, 25, interrupted, asking, "It's feminine, how?" -- prompting Garfield to respond, "It's amazing how you took that as an insult."
