The search continues for a LaPorte County man charged for possession of an explosive device. The LaPorte County Sheriff's Office reports they were called to the 72-hundred block of County Road 125 North for a potential domestic disturbance, just after 9pm on Monday, and located homemade dynamite in boxes labeled US Postal Service in the home and garage. Authorities report 54 year old Robert Ofcky fled the area prior to their arrival. An investigation continues with the ATF being the lead agency in charge.
Anyone who observes Robert Ofcky is asked to contact law enforcement immediately and do not approach him. He is described as a white male, 6'03”, weighing 265 pounds, with short brown hair, green eyes and the letters N-A-N-C-Y tattooed on his left fingers. Authorities report it is possible he maybe driving an unknown year gold-colored Ford Ranger pickup truck.
