24 Year Sentence for Woman Who Sold Her Child

Bour-Hillard

A 25 year old woman from Gary who pleaded guilty earlier this year to selling her infant daughter for use in child pornography, and allowing the infant and her other daughter to be used in the production of child pornography, was sentenced to just over 24 years in prison on Wednesday. Natisha Hillard was sentenced below the statutory minimum of 30 years due to her cooperation against 40 year old Christopher Bour, also of Gary, who last month was sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to producing and possessing child pornography.

Both Gary residents were charged in early 2013 with the crimes after a woman reported receiving a text message from Bour indicating a child was going to be abused, which sparked an investigation.
