A search ws set to resume this morning for a New York man who disappeared in the waters of Lake Michigan off Beverly Shores Monday afternoon. Indiana conservation officers say he was with another person on a small inflatable boat he had purchased from a local retail store when they decided they were out too far. Authorities say Leonel Dominguez tried to swim while pulling the boat back toward the beach, and unable to swim anymore tried to get back in the boat, but it capsized and both landed in the water fighting waves and wind. A bystander on the beach was able to save the woman, but the man disappeared. Boats equipped with side-scan sonar accompanied nearly fifty people combing the area, including divers and a coast guard helicopter.
