Work on S. Calumet in Valpo

Work continues to redo part of south Calumet Avenue in Valparaiso.... Valparaiso Redevelopment Commission Executive Director Stuart Summers says the stretch between the railroad tracks going north to Evans is currently four-lanes that funnel into a three-lane street ... the project will make it three-lanes all the way through... with more green space as well. Crews broke ground on the project a couple weeks ago.
