Fire Damages New Buffalo Restaurant

Fire damaged a well-known restaurant just a little north of the Indiana-Michigan state line last night. Firefighters in Berrien County Michigan were called out to the Stray Dog Bar & Grill on north Whittaker Street in New Buffalo just after 9-o'clock Eastern time. Customers inside at the time were evacuated by employees of the restaurant. A post at the restaurant's Facebook page today says the "shell" of the restaurant is gone, but the Gear shop survived and they hope to reopen it again soon.  Cause of the fire is not yet known.
