Yesterday, I decided to start a new after work routine. As long as the weather cooperates, I plan on riding my bike before making the trek home! Yesterday, I began my journey at Imagination Glenn Park in Portage and rode the trail to Downtown Chesterton! What an awesome ride... just the right amount of effort needed!!!
Also, I enjoyed checking out the many businesses in Chesterton! Guess I didn't realize the great antique shops I could find along my journey! Too bad I haven't attached that basket to my bike or else I would have came home with a bunch of stuff!
I'm looking for more places to explore if you have any suggestions let me know on Facebook!
Do you ever find yourself looking like trash getting whistled at by people on the street?!?! I hate it more than anything when I am trying to exercise, mind my own business and all I hear is random passerby's hollering! Ugh, guys does this ever work?
Happened yesterday while my sister and I were bike riding! We had pulled over to fix a tire (that I put on wrong) when some guys walked by and started whistling and yelling "hey girl"! Just what we needed! Too bad my sister made matters even worse and yelled "hey how's it going?" back! Turns out she didn't have her glasses on and she thought the two guys were her friends! WRONG! It took them walking all the way over and asking us repeatedly to go to the bar with them before she realized her mistake! Ha!
Anyway, wanna know... do you appreciate being whistled at when you're out? Or are you like me and SUPER annoyed!?!? Let us know on Facebook!
Welcome back to reality!!! How was your weekend? Got another round of crazy storms... wish I would have taken a picture of how it looked coming over the lake as I was watching it in MI! Got to experience so much fun, thought I'd share some of it with you!
First on Friday, I went to the Railcats game and had a blast with my handsome date. (See Pic Above) Ate way too much nachos and even scored some free sour cream! (Be listening for the story) Tell you the perks are limitless!!!
I also got a chance to explore New Buffalo, MI this weekend with the fiance! It was hot and stormy, but a great time! Had the best chocolate covered pretzel ice cream and saw the coolest Chalk Art Festival in St. Joseph's! (Too bad the rain came and washed it away!) You can check a pretty cool pic on our Facebook Page!
Lastly, had a chance to explore the Nature Trail that leads into Wicker Park on bikes! What a beautiful place to ride if you never have! I've smashed 2 adult bikes into my Corolla trunk and am scared to try and get them out today!!! Also, at Wicker Park ran into the biggest Volleyball jerks of all time! Came onto the court they were hogging with 3 people to ask if we could scrimmage them, when they yelled "We're in the middle of a drill... get off the (blank) court!" Jeeze buddy, The Olympics are in London!!! However, we came across a nice group of people who let us share the volleyball court with them for some fun last night! Thank you to the nice people in the world!!!
Share your weekend with us on Facebook!!!
