Annie was born and raised in Northwest Indiana with her younger sister and parents in Hammond. After spending some time out of the area chasing the radio dream she has moved back to start a family with her two main men: Jager the mutt and fiance Rob. When she is not on the air Annie enjoys cheering her favorite Chicago sports teams (Da Bears, Da Bulls, And Da Sox), hiking, and exploring new fairs and festivals! (Anything Deep Fried she's in!) Annie cannot wait to share her life with you on air and is excited to be back in the Region doing what she loves!

The Science Of Falling In Love

Annie's Blog

Have you seen this new study that says most people believe you cannot help who you fall in love with? (I'd Like To Think I Picked Rob Pictured Above... Ha!) 77 percent believe in this theory... where do you stand? (Check Out More Here) I think you can't help who you are attracted to, but you can choose to act on the attraction! Too many times we blame cheating on love... newsflash that's not what love is about! Let's hear your opinion on Facebook!

How Young Is Too Young?

Annie's Blog

Have You Heard About This Mom In Trouble For Letting Her 4 Year Old Wear Makeup? (Check out more here) Now I know little kids love trying on makeup... my niece always steals my makeup brush and plays with it! I'll admit it is adorable to watch little kids try to imitate dressing up like their parents, but it is a fine line. After watching Toddlers and Tiaras I can see how makeup and body issues can get out of control! (I know that's an extreme example!)

However it does bring up the question: How young is too young? Thoughts? Comments? Share them on our Facebook Page!

Are You A Snoop?

Annie's Blog

A new survey finds that around 44 percent of parents admit to "spying" on their child's facebook. I'd like to think that number is much higher, although I'm not sure I would call it spying if it were my child's page. How else are parent's supposed to keep their kids safe if they cannot monitor their online activity?

Another topic brought up was the age requirement for kids to be online. I'm amazed by how much my two year old niece knows when it comes to computers! It's kinda cute how she thinks everything is a touch screen like the iPad! She'll go around trying to swipe everything to make it change like her games! Although I find her absolutely adorable, it is a little scary! Do you have age limits for your kids? Do you spy? Let's talk about it on Facebook!

You can also read the full survey here.

The New Three Second Rule

Annie's Blog

Have you heard the latest in the viral video craze? It's called the "Three Second Rule" (check out the full song here)!

Now I've heard of the three second rule for food dropped on the floor, but this is taking it in a new direction! Check out a sample of the lyrics:

"It's called the three second rule.
Like the kinda rule you had in school.
It's just my three second rule.
It's designed to keep my man in line as long as he follows the three second rule..."

So what do you think? Would you apply the three second rule to your man/woman? Ha! Btw, we really need to make our own viral video!
