Annie was born and raised in Northwest Indiana with her younger sister and parents in Hammond. After spending some time out of the area chasing the radio dream she has moved back to start a family with her two main men: Jager the mutt and fiance Rob. When she is not on the air Annie enjoys cheering her favorite Chicago sports teams (Da Bears, Da Bulls, And Da Sox), hiking, and exploring new fairs and festivals! (Anything Deep Fried she's in!) Annie cannot wait to share her life with you on air and is excited to be back in the Region doing what she loves!

WILL FERRELL ON AUBREY PLAZA'S MOVIE AWARDS "KANYE" MOMENT

The MTV Movie Awards is known for outlandish comedy skits. But one of the strangest moments on last night’s show appeared to be entirely unscripted as a young actress attempted to grab Will Ferrell's trophy as he accepted the Comedic Genius Award. Parks And Recreation star Aubrey Plaza was later asked to leave the ceremony after her bizarre behavior on live TV. Drink in hand, the 28-year-old jumped up from her front row seat and attempted to wrestle the popcorn trophy from Ferrell's hand. The actress had the name of her upcoming movie scrawled across her chest.

POLICE PULL OVER 6-YEAR-OLD WHO WAS OUT DRIVING TO GET CHINESE FOOD

Police in Lapeer, Mich., said a 6-year-old boy told officers he was going to pick up Chinese food when they pulled him over as he drove his parents' vehicle. Several other drivers alerted police to the child driver Saturday morning. "They told police when they called that it looked like a 6-year-old was driving the car," said Sgt. Andy Engster of the Lapeer County Sheriff's Department. "And they were exactly right." When officers arrived at the scene, two drivers of other vehicles had boxed in the boy and one driver had reached into the vehicle the boy was driving and taken the keys out of the ignition, Engster said. The boy told officers that he took the keys off the counter at his home and that he was going to get Chinese food
