The Gibson Woods chapter of Wild Ones has announced their 25th Annual Native Plant Sale will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT. The event will take place inside the large pavilion at Lake Etta County Park on West 29th Avenue in Gary, IN, three blocks south and three blocks east of the Interstate 80/94 Burr Street exit. The sale features over 100 species of plants, grasses and shrubs – all native to the Midwest. You won’t find any cultivars at this sale, the group said. The event is rain-or-shine, so everyone is advised to dress accordingly. Also, arrive early for best selection.
