UPDATE: In Crown Point, the city has announced Mayor Land’s 2025 State of the City originally scheduled for Tuesday May 20 has been postponed to June 3 due to inclement weather in the forecast. The announcement also said all times will remain the same.
In Crown Point, Mayor Pete Land will deliver his annual State of the City address May 20, 2025, at the Franciscan Health Pavilion at Bulldog Park located on South West Street. Mayor Land will provide a recap of the last year and highlight development planned for 2025. The Mayor’s Office will be joined by city departments and local businesses for a night of networking, awards, and announcements. Crown Point businesses with more than 25 years in operation as of 2025 may submit an application for a business longevity award by visiting the city of Crown Point website; deadline is Friday, April 18.
