Town of Merrillville to Host Annual Job Fair

In Merrillville, the town is holding its annual job fair July 30 2025. Job seekers and employers from across the Region will come together from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. July 30 2025 for a day full of opportunity, networking, and success at the Community Center, 6600 Broadway in Merrillville. The town is also offering a special Job Fair Prep Event July 9 2025 to help job seekers shine their brightest on the fair day. Also taking place at the Dean and Barbara White Community Center, two sessions will be available: 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Open to individuals 18 and older, this free workshop includes guidance on resume building, interview practice, and job fair readiness tips. Each participant will also receive a free professional portfolio. “We want job seekers to feel confident and fully prepared when they walk into the job fair,” said Linda Rosas, Administrative Manager for the Town of Merrillville. “This prep session is our way of making sure everyone has the tools they need to succeed, whether it’s a polished resume or strong interview skills.” Class size for the free workshop is limited to 40 people per session, so early registration is encouraged at the town’s website.
