In Merrillville, the American Red Cross says renovations are underway to improve the donor experience at its Community Blood Donation Center on 83rd Avenue. With the Donation Center temporarily closed as crews complete the work, new blood drives have been scheduled in Merrillville. Donors can visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter their zip code to find a full list of blood drives in northwest Indiana and make an appointment to give blood.
