In Valparaiso, Valpo Parks says it has made significant upgrades and investments at Creekside Golf Course and Training Center and at Forest Park Golf Course. New cart paths are going in at both, with two state of the art simulators being installed at Creekside this fall, expanding year round play and training options. This spring, the Forest Park course will get a new irrigiation system, replacing a 35-year old system. The Forest Park course will get a new fleet of club cars and new benches and ball washers will be added to improve convenience and course feel; also, the Bender Golf Teehouse is nearing completion, featuring 12 covered bays equipped with heaters and fans—making year-round practice a reality, Valpo Parks said. “At Valpo Parks, we recognize that golf is more than just a game; it’s a cherished recreational opportunity that fosters connection and healthy lifestyles within our community,” said Kevin Nuppnau, Director of Valpo Parks.
