In Valparaiso, the city is seeking input on recycling. The community is invited to participate in one of five upcoming focus group sessions scheduled during the month of September 2025 to help Valpo better understand how residents view the current program, identify community needs, and determine the future direction of recycling in Valparaiso. Each session will last about an hour and 15 minutes and will be at the Valparaiso City Services Business Office on Billings Street, where the water bills are paid. There are sessions for recyclers and non-recyclers. To participate, visit the City’s recycling webpage to review the available sessions and then reserve a spot.
