Lake County Master Gardeners October Program on Basic Pruning Techniques

In Crown Point, the Lake County Master Gardeners present, “Shape Up Your Garden – Easy Pruning Techniques” with Bryan McKay, Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 6 p.m. at Purdue Cooperative Extension on North Main Street. Learn how and when to best prune trees, shrubs, and garden plants in a free program for new and seasoned gardeners. Leading the discussion will be Bryan McKay, with over 30 years in the landscape industry, including service as horticulturist for Lake County Parks. Lake County Master Gardeners says McKay is a trusted resource for Region gardeners, sharing his knowledge on plant care and sustainable landscaping, and is also a community educator, leading workshops through venues such as the Lowell Public Library.
