Water Main Break, Boil Advisory, Portage

In Portage, Mayor Austin Bonta reports there is a water main break on Central Avenue by the Fire Station. In a social media post early this morning Thursday November 6, 2025, Mayor Bonta said Central Avenue was closed in the immediate area due to the flooding; Indiana American Water is on scene and repairs are underway. A Boil Water Advisory was also issued, with details and a map showing affected customers at the Indiana American Water website.
