In Crown Point, Lake County Government Center officials and employees have started a food and fund drive for the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, and donation boxes at the government center on North Main Street are also available for the public to use. Food collection sites will be available at various locations including in the common area of Building A, 2nd Floor, the Assessor’s Office, the Council Office, Elections and Registration Office, the Recorder’s Office, the Treasurer’s Office, and at the cafeteria. Additional boxes will be available in Circuit Division Lobby Room B-101 and Traffic Division Lobby Room A-113; and in the Juvenile Division Lobby Room 1160 at 3000 W. 93rd Avenue, Crown Point, said a letter distributed by Christine Cid, Lake County Council president.
