In Illinois, the Village of Lansing announces the launch of its first Farmers Market. It will debut June 9, 2026, and take place each Tuesday, at Fox Pointe on Henry Street from 9 am to 1 pm, through September 22, 2026. “Introducing a Farmers Market to Lansing is something residents have been asking for, and we’re proud to make it happen,” said Lansing Mayor Brian Hardy. “This market is about more than fresh food—it’s about bringing people together and creating a welcoming place to connect and enjoy the best of our community.” Residents and visitors will be able to stroll along Henry and Randolph Streets and shop a variety of local farmers, bakers, artisans, and specialty vendors. According to Mayor Hardy, Fox Pointe’s walkable design, central location, and open layout make it an ideal setting for a farmers market. Village staff are currently seeking vendor participation.
