The 2026 Indiana Dunes Birding Festival gets underway Thursday May 14th and continues through Sunday May 17th. The festival’s website says the annual event “showcases the abundance of migratory birds in the Indiana Dunes”. On Wednesday night May 13, 2026, the festival officially unveiled the 2026 Indiana Dunes Birding Festival fine art, created by local artist Kristina Knowski.
