In Crown Point, Mayor Pete Land will deliver his annual State of the City address from 5:30-9 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Franciscan Health Pavilion at Bulldog Park om S. West Street. Mayor Land will provide a recap of the last year and highlight upcoming development in 2026.
Several Crown Point businesses and community members will be honored during the evening with special awards. Awards presented include:
• Business Longevity recognizing Crown Point businesses that have been in business for 45 plus years in 2026
• Youth Community Achievement honoring two Crown Point High School students who have exceeded community service requirements
• Excellence in Business/Development highlighting a local business owner/developer for his or her contributions to the advancement of the City of Crown Point
• Community Impact Award recognizing outstanding volunteerism in the community and someone who volunteers for the community with the sole intention of helping those in need
